Location: Leicester City | Start: Immediate - Long Term | Contract: Full‑Time | Salary: Excellent daily rate (189 - 243 per day)

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of French looking for an exciting new opportunity in Leicester? A thriving, friendly, and forward‑thinking secondary school is seeking a talented French specialist to join their outstanding MFL Department. The successful candidate will deliver French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, contributing to an already high‑performing faculty.

The School

The MFL Department

The Modern Foreign Languages department is housed in a newly designed, purpose‑built area with classrooms equipped to the highest standard. Students benefit from these facilities both in lessons and during independent study. Due to an internal promotion, the successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive department led by an experienced and inspiring Head of MFL.

Role – Teacher of French
  • Deliver high‑quality French lessons across KS3 & KS4.
  • Inspire, motivate, and challenge students of varying abilities.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the MFL curriculum.
  • Use ICT and modern resources to deliver interactive and engaging lessons.
  • Work as part of a dedicated departmental team to raise achievement and maintain high standards.
Person Specification
  • Is dynamic, motivated, and passionate about language teaching.
  • Has a proven track record of delivering excellent lessons and raising pupil achievement.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge.
  • Can work collaboratively within the MFL team while also taking initiative.
  • Is an experienced teacher or an ECT seeking their first teaching post.
