Salary: Competitive, based upon the United Learning pay scale (between £35,000 and £51,000).

William Hulme's Grammar School (WHGS) is an all-through school and one of the most over‑subscribed schools in Manchester. We are looking for a well‑qualified graduate of English with excellent subject knowledge, good organisational and time‑management skills, and the ability to enthuse our students in the pursuit of English language and English literature. You will contribute further to a thriving English Faculty in both its curricular and extra‑curricular opportunities. The successful candidate will be able to teach English language and English literature at GCSE. An ability to teach English language and/or English literature A level is desirable, but not essential.
