Salary: £33,594 - £50,589 per annum

Contract Duration: Temporary maternity cover until 19/04/2026 or the earlier return of the post holder.

Role Purpose

Galashiels Academy are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our English and Modern Languages Department. The successful candidate will strive to enable all young people to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors as part of the school team.

Essential

A teaching qualification in English.

Full registration with The General Teaching Council for Scotland or Provisional Registration if Probationary period has not yet been completed.
