Position Overview

We are seeking a well‑qualified and dynamic Teacher of English to join our English Faculty full time from September. All pupils take both English and English Literature at GCSE, whilst at A level both English Language and English Literature are offered. The ability to teach the full age range is essential. You will be part of a strong and successful department where examination results are consistently high.

Responsibilities
  • Teach GCSE English, English Literature, and A level English Language and English Literature to pupils across the full age range.
  • Contribute to the School's wide range of co‑curricular activities.
  • Utilise modern technology, including 1:1 digital learning, to support small teaching groups.
  • Work collaboratively within a high‑performing department to maintain consistent high examination results.
Qualifications & Experience

The post would be equally suitable for someone seeking a first appointment or an experienced teacher. A willingness to contribute to the School's wide range of co‑curricular activities is expected.
