Are you a passionate and innovative Teacher of Design & Technology? We are seeking an effective and highly motivated teacher to join our Design & Art Faculty.

Salary: MPS/UPS

About You

As a Teacher of Design & Technology, at The Hart School you will bring your passion for teaching to life in the classroom. Our ideal candidate would:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status with a degree in a related discipline
  • Desirable to have experience of teaching Engineering, but not essential
  • Have a genuine passion for and a belief in the potential of every student
  • Have the ability to think strategically about classroom practice and tailoring lessons to students needs
  • Set high expectations and be a positive role model – consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which we expect of pupils.
About The Design Team

Our Design & Art Faculty comprises 9 teaching staff and 2 technical support staff, who are all subject specialists. It is a strong and experienced team who are committed to delivering innovative and inspirational lessons to all students. The subjects offered by the team include Graphic Design, Product Development, Food Technology, Photography, Art & Design and Engineering.
