Teacher of Design & Technology

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Teacher of Design & Technology for a maternity cover position. This fixed-term role offers an exciting opportunity to teach in a high-achieving, well-resourced department with small class sizes and highly engaged students.

The successful candidate will deliver inspiring lessons that combine design thinking with practical applications in wood, plastics, textiles, and emerging technologies. We are looking for someone who can bring technology to life in the classroom, demonstrating both subject expertise and a passion for innovation.

Experience teaching up to Key Stage 4 or 5 is required. An interest in areas such as art, fashion, or textiles would be an advantage. This role is suitable for established DT specialists, early career teachers looking to develop, or educators returning to the classroom, offering scope to strengthen practice in a supportive and stimulating environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
