Teacher of Computing and Science

Salary: Teachers Main/Upper Scale

Full Time (32.5 hours per week)

Start: January - April 2026

As part of Bordesley MAT, Birchensale Middle School works closely with Trinity High School, Woodfield Academy and Holyoakes Field First School in a very localised MAT focusing on the development of children in Redditch. Working together as part of the three‑tier system we aspire to improve the educational offer for the local community.

Birchensale Middle School is a popular 5‑form entry middle school with pupils on roll aged 9‑13 years old. We are a happy, vibrant learning community, with high aspirations for the children in our care and the staff team that supports them.

Birchensale is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated team and help shape the future of our learners. You will teach Computing and Science across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3, delivering engaging lessons that spark interest and deepen understanding. You will be part of a supportive department that values teamwork and professional development.
