Overview

The role at South Hampstead High School is to join its thriving Computer Science department as a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Computer Science from April 2026. You will work with motivated pupils from Years 7 to 13, delivering engaging and challenging lessons across all key stages and support pupils in developing their own software projects.

You may be an experienced teacher with a proven track record of success or a well-qualified early career teacher or graduate who is ready to begin their teaching journey. The Computer Science Department

The Computer Science department has grown significantly in recent years, offering increased timetabled and co-curricular sessions. The department has access to a dedicated Computer Science Suite designed to support project-based learning and collaboration, alongside a traditional ICT suite. Students have access to Chromebooks and a range of software development tools for app, web and game design, as well as Raspberry Pi workstations, micro:bits and sensor boards.
