Bedford Modern School is an HMC Independent Co-educational Day School located on the outskirts of Bedford. Our facilities are excellent and include a separate Junior School, dedicated Sixth Form building, purpose-built Science Centre opened in 2017 and extensive sports facilities.

We are looking to appoint a committed and suitably qualified graduate to teach A Level Business, with the ability to teach Economics considered an advantage. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, comfortable using the latest technology, have a passion for their subject and appreciate the value of being actively involved in departmental trips, events and enrichment activities.
You will join our dynamic PPE Faculty, which includes Business, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology and Politics. The Faculty is friendly and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on sharing ideas and supporting each other. Students benefit from a vibrant co‑curricular programme including weekly societies, debates, competitions and trips.
You will have a genuine interest in delivering positive outcomes for young people and be willing to contribute to the extensive co‑curricular life of both the PPE Faculty and the wider school.
