Job summary

Academics Worcester is recruiting a dedicated Art and Design teacher with QTS/ QTLS status to inspire local pupils in Worcester and across Worcestershire. You will deliver creative lessons, engage students, and foster self-expression while maintaining high behaviour standards and safeguarding practices.

The role offers permanent positions or long-term contracts with flexible daily/short-term assignments, providing a great work/life balance and access to extensive CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status is required.
• Ability to inspire and challenge local young people through creative Art & Design.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Art and Design lessons to inspire pupils and develop self-expression.
• Maintain high standards of pupil behaviour and support safeguarding requirements.
• Contribute to curriculum development and subject leadership where appropriate.
• Attend CPD and participate in school-wide initiatives.
