Job description

Justteachers are working on behalf of a Bradford Secondary School to appoint a Teacher of Art from April or September 2025.

The successful teacher will be enthusiastic and dedicated. Their passion for the subject area will be clearly demonstrated in engaging lessons and student participation.

The role will require the Teacher of Art to implement the KS3 and 4 curriculum to suit the learning needs, culture and high standards expected of the pupils in school. They will ensure high quality curriculum implementation that has pace and challenge, breadth of curriculum coverage and purposeful assessment. All lessons will be differentiated to meet the needs of all students including those with SEND.

The successful Teacher of Art will have:

• Up to date subject knowledge at KS3 and 4
• The ability to teach Art
• Knowledge of strategies for raising attainment
• Degree level qualification in Art and Design or relevant subject
• PGCE with QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Successful teaching experience at Secondary level
• Enthusiasm, determination and high standards
• Belief in the value of others
• Commitment to own personal development and learning
• Two school based references
• Legal right to work in the UK
