Ark Soane Academy in Acton is seeking an enthusiastic Art teacher to join a very strong Art department. You will plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons, support GCSE provision, and help students develop creativity and critical thinking within a vibrant curriculum.

You will contribute to school improvement, uphold our values, and inspire pupils to take ownership of their learning as part of a committed staff team.

The Art department is an integral part of the school’s success, in the first set of GCSE results, the Art department achieved the strongest outcomes of any subject, with a progress 8 score of +2.26. This success reflects the high expectations, ambition and quality of teaching that underpin the department.

Students’ enthusiasm for Art is equally clear. Demand for the subject at GCSE has grown significantly, with the number of GCSE classes doubling. With increasing numbers of students choosing to pursue Art at GCSE, we are now looking to expand our team and appoint another exceptional Art teacher.

The successful candidate will join a very strong Art department and will ensure that Art remains at the heart of the curriculum.
