Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge children and young people

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure student success.

Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a teaching degree or equivalent.
  • A qualification in SEND education is desirable.

Who are we?

Mill School Bury is an independent autism specialist school which supports children and young people aged from 7 - 17. The school has been designed to best support children’s mental health and well-being and to provide a state-of-the-art learning environment.

The school is set in its own extensive grounds including areas for Bush Craft and a MUGA. Inside, a combination of rebound, multi-sensory and immersive reality therapy spaces ensure the holistic approach continues.

These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
