A local educational authority in Salford seeks a dedicated SEND/SEMH Teacher to join their dynamic team at a SEND school. Due to the expansion of our team, we are looking for a skilled, compassionate and dedicated teacher with experience of supporting children with SEND / SEMH needs (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities / Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) to join our vibrant team at our SEND school and Pupil Referral Unit (PRU).
Alder Brook is part of the LINK Trust. The LINK Education Trust is an inclusive partnership of mainstream and special schools in Salford, where all pupils enjoy learning. As a SEND / SEMH Teacher at Alder Brook, you will work with a group of children, providing tailored support and interventions to help children overcome barriers to learning, supporting children to thrive in an educational setting. Experience across all Key Stages is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, understanding, and skilled in supporting behaviours which challenge, creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
