A healthcare organization in Folkestone is seeking a Band 5 nurse to join their team. The role involves caring for patients with TB, supporting contact tracing, and providing holistic case management. We are excited to be recruiting a Band 5 nurse to join our east Kent team.
This post is a development role with a view to progressing to a Band 6 specialist TB nurse. The successful candidate will work closely and be supervised by our experienced Specialist TB nurses in a supportive environment. We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, who enjoys the challenge of working with socially and medically complex patients in a community setting and who is passionate about advocating for our patients.
The role will primarily involve caring for patients in north Kent but may involve some wider travel in Kent for training and meetings. The post holder will work closely with our specialist TB nurses but will also need to be able to work autonomously.
