No prior underwriting experience is required; the team comprises tax lawyers, accountants and corporate advisers who translate deep technical knowledge into commercial decisions while staying close to transactions.

Qualifications

• Tax lawyers with a strong deal sheet and technical depth in domestic and cross-border tax positions.
• Ability to analyse complex tax structures and make commercial judgements.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite standalone tax liability risks across UK and international jurisdictions.
• Assess technical merits, form views on risk and quantum, structure and negotiate terms.
• Draft policy wording and manage high-value matters from submission to bind.
