Job summary

EY UK invites you to a four-week Tax Summer Internship, providing a hands-on glimpse into day-to-day tax work and client services. You’ll explore how we navigate regulations and leverage AI and technology, while contributing to a group case study and practical deliverables.

You’ll gain hands-on skills, learn how tax policies and risk management affect organisations, and have opportunities for fast-tracking to the Graduate Programme if you excel. This UK-based programme starts July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support teams with real client work by preparing and checking information for tax deliverables and risk considerations.
• Learn how Tax impacts organisations and society, including advice on tax affairs, risk policies, sustainability strategies and technology use in delivery.
• Work in a group to complete a structured case study over the programme, applying research and problem solving to a business scenario.
• Develop quickly through on‑the‑job feedback and end‑of‑programme assessments, with potential to fast‑track to the Graduate Programme if you perform well.
