Job summary

IPS seeks an experienced Tax Senior or Tax Manager Designate in Leeds to join an independent practice. The role is predominantly personal tax and compliance focussed, with the opportunity to contribute to advisory projects and progress towards management.

You will work closely with partners handling owner‑managed and private client portfolios, building relationships and mentoring junior staff as you take on greater responsibility.

• Building strong, long-term client relationships.
• Assisting with the development and mentoring of more junior members of the tax team.
• Taking increasing responsibility for the delivery and review of client work.

The role is predominantly personal tax and compliance focussed, working closely with the partners and a varied portfolio of owner-managed and private clients. Alongside the compliance work, you will have the opportunity to provide ad-hoc support on advisory projects, giving you the chance to broaden your experience and progress towards a future management position. The role would suit an experienced personal tax professional looking for a progressive opportunity within a well-established independent firm.
