Qualifications

As the Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager you will be a key member of the Group Tax Team and will play a pivotal role in delivering the groups tax reporting and compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions.

Acting as a key link between finance external advisors and tax authorities youll ensure accurate tax reporting oversee outsourced compliance engagements and support the wider tax governance and process improvement initiatives.

What you'll be involved in :
  • UK and Irish Tax Compliance including the preparation of monthly and year-end tax provisions management of current and deferred tax accounts annual statutory disclosures preparation and submission of tax returns and making tax payments.
  • Management of outsourced tax compliance engagements with advisors in USA Netherlands Cayman and Singapore.
  • Effective tax rate reporting and presentation
  • Management of tax compliance deadlines
  • Assistance in preparation and submission of UK R&D claims
  • Responsibility for cash tax forecasting across the Group
  • Support to evaluate monitor and mitigate tax compliance risk via appropriate tax control processes
  • Assistance in tax enquiries
  • Provide support and tax advice to finance team and tax support for statutory audits
  • Support Group Tax Team on advisory matters as required
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships within the business
What we need from you :
Essential skills and experience :
  • ACA / CTA (or equivalent) qualified with strong experience in tax reporting accounting and compliance
  • Experience preparing tax computations with Alphatax
  • Industry experience of year-end tax reporting return prep and cash tax forecasting
  • Familiar with international corporate tax compliance and comfortable operating in a complex international environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
  • Self-motivated proactive and able to work to tight deadlines
Desirable skills and experience
  • Experience with tax process automation and the implementation of tax software / technology tools
  • Financial Services tax experience
  • Knowledge of UK anti-hybrid rules
  • Irish tax compliance experience
