Job summary

Squire Patton Boggs in Leeds is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Management Accounts team. You will handle direct tax compliance, planning and advisory work for the UK LLP, and support the UK Finance team.

You will prepare UK LLP Group tax returns to HMRC, manage VAT, PAYE Settlement, and lead tax audits. Strong knowledge of UK and international tax law, ATT qualification or equivalent, and good IT skills are required.

Qualifications

• ATT-qualified or equivalent tax qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of UK and international tax legislation.
• Experience in a professional services environment preferred.
• Good IT skills and proficiency with Word/Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare UK LLP Group tax returns to HMRC, including income tax and corporation tax computations.
• Assist Group Tax Director in managing direct tax compliance processes.
• Develop processes to improve tax compliance efficiency.
• Lead tax audits and respond to tax authorities as needed.
• Coordinate PAYE Settlement Agreement and related payments; support Payroll/Benefits.
