Walker Lovell Ltd in London is seeking an experienced trusts and estates professional to join our growing private client team, focusing on complex UK trusts and high-net-worth individuals. You will manage an established portfolio, delivering compliance and advisory work, and work closely with Partners on complex matters.
This is a hybrid role with senior leadership collaboration and opportunity to influence the practice's development.
Location: West End, London (City office also available)
Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office
What’s in it for you?
If you’re looking for more than another Trust Manager role, this is an opportunity to become an influential member of a growing specialist practice.
You’ll inherit an established portfolio from day one, working directly alongside an experienced Partner on complex trusts, estates and private client matters. With increasing demand for specialist trusts advice across the wider business, you’ll also have the opportunity to help shape how the offering develops as it continues to grow.
Additional benefits
Why this business?
This is an established multidisciplinary professional services firm with a highly regarded private client practice, advising high-net-worth individuals, trustees, executors and family wealth structures.
The trusts and estates offering is benefiting from increasing demand and referrals from across the wider business, creating a strong pipeline of specialist work. The breadth of the firm also gives the team access to expertise across complementary areas when supporting more complex client matters.
This isn’t simply an opportunity to service an existing portfolio. You’ll become an important part of the next stage of the practice’s development, working closely with senior leadership on existing clients, new opportunities and relationships across the wider firm while continuing to deepen your own technical expertise.
What you’ll be doing
What you’ll bring
These requirements retain the technical bar in the client's specification while reflecting that MKS accepts CTA, STEP or another professional qualification, and treats non-UK resident trust experience as desirable.
Who this suits
You’re an experienced trusts and estates professional who enjoys technically challenging work and wants to remain close to specialist advisory matters rather than moving into a broad generalist role.
You may already be operating at Manager level, or be ready to take on greater ownership of client relationships and junior colleagues. What matters is that you have strong trusts and estates expertise and want an environment where you can deepen that specialism while gaining greater influence over how the practice develops.
