Job summary

Jobtailor in Exeter seeks an experienced personal tax professional to oversee relationships with high-net-worth clients and deliver high-quality personal tax compliance. You will review junior staff work, build strong client relationships, and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.

In this role you will identify opportunities to provide additional services, support senior management with ad hoc advisory projects, and monitor time and profitability across your portfolio.

Qualifications

• CTA and ATT qualifications or equivalent; tax credentialing in personal tax.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in personal tax.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• Up-to-date understanding of UK tax legislation.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills across clients and teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CCH and AI-enabled tax tools.
