Job summary

EY Tax is seeking an experienced advisor to join the Funds Tax team in London. You will lead UK tax reporting for a portfolio of clients, delivering technically complex consulting projects with a practical, business-focused approach.

The role also involves pursuing business development opportunities across EY services, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to people initiatives and team strategy. Possession of ACA/Law or equivalent tax qualification is expected.

Qualifications

• ACA/Law or Tax specialist qualification, or equivalent tax expertise.
• Strong tax technical skills
• Experience coaching junior staff
• Knowledge of partnerships taxation

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for management of UK tax reporting being delivered to their client base.
• Management of the successful delivery of technically complex consulting projects for their clients, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business focus.
• Pursuit of business development opportunities identified by other service lines at EY (through audit, corporate finance or wider tax relationships).
• Provision of development support to junior members of the team through effective supervision, coaching and mentoring.
• Contribution to people initiatives, including retaining and training our team.
• Significant role in the management of the team both in terms of strategy and operations and also through managing junior staff development and assignments.]
