Job summary

LAW Absolute is seeking a Tax Associate in London with 2–5 years’ PQE to join its highly regarded tax practice. You will advise on UK and international tax matters across corporate and finance transactions, fund structuring, cross-border arrangements and employee benefits.

The role offers exposure to significant transactions and disputes, with a focus on delivering practical, commercially minded tax solutions for clients while working closely with colleagues across the firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified in England & Wales.
• 2–5 years’ PQE within a leading tax practice.
• Experience supporting corporate and commercial clients with tax matters across domestic and international jurisdictions.
• Clear, practical advice and strong communication skills are essential.
• Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Tax Associate with 2–5 years’ PQE to join a highly regarded tax practice in London. The team advises clients on a broad range of complex UK and international tax matters, working closely with colleagues across the wider firm to provide practical and commercially focused advice.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on matters including corporate and finance transactions, fund structuring, cross-border tax arrangements, employee benefits and executive compensation, tax-exempt organisations, tax audits, investigations and disputes, and the structuring of transactions and business operations to manage tax exposure and minimise tax risk.

The team advises clients on the implications of developments in the rapidly evolving global tax landscape and plays an important role in supporting significant transactions and strategic matters.

Experience required:

• Qualified in England & Wales
• Have 2–5 years’ PQE gained within a leading tax practice.
• Experience supporting corporate and commercial clients with tax matters spanning both domestic and international jurisdictions.
• Ability to provide clear, practical advice.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
