Job summary

G2 Legal is seeking a junior Private Client Solicitor to build a genuine specialism in tax and wealth planning, working closely with an experienced Private Client & Tax specialist to gain hands-on exposure to complex matters. You’ll receive mentoring and a pathway to qualifications within a hybrid working setup.

You’ll develop technical expertise through real client work, with direct mentoring and progression opportunities, supporting your growth in a tax-focused private client practice.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ PQE in Private Client.
• Interest in tax and wealth planning.
• Strong client skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise across IHT, CGT, Income Tax and SDLT.
• Work on estate and succession planning for individuals, families, trustees and farmers.
• Gain exposure to family investment companies and property investment businesses.
• Advise on tax implications of business sales, retirement and other life events.
• Understand how personal, business and property interests interact.
• Support towards STEP, ATT or CTA qualifications.
