Taxation, a boutique tax advisory firm based in Altrincham, UK, seeks a Tax Disputes Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of HMRC enquiries and dispute cases. You will work with clients, internal specialists, and external advisors to deliver strategic solutions and optimal outcomes.

The role requires ACA/CTA qualification, strong UK tax knowledge, and a proven track record in disputes or investigations, plus mentoring juniors and driving business development while staying current with HMRC

Qualifications

• ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in tax disputes or investigations.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC procedures.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
• Proactive, client-focused mindset with commercial awareness.
• Experience in a consultancy or advisory environment is highly desirable.
