Qualifications

• ACA and/or CTA qualification or equivalent.
• Extensive UK tax knowledge advising business and private clients.
• Experience handling complex tax matters for SMEs, private equity-backed businesses or high-net-worth individuals.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and generate new business.
• Strong leadership, project management and communication skills.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Confident managing senior stakeholders and multiple client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the tax team.
• Advise clients including SMEs, private equity-backed businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
• Oversee complex tax advisory engagements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure high standards of technical advice and client service.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and professional networks.
• Provide technical guidance on changes to tax legislation.
• Oversee client projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Coach and support the development of team members.
• Collaborate with other specialist teams on complex client matters.
• Contribute to wider business development initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and grow the client portfolio.
