A global reinsurer is seeking a Tax Controller – Indirect Taxes to manage processes for Insurance Premium Tax and VAT compliance across Europe. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in Excise Tax Returns, strong accounting skills, and the ability to collaborate with external service providers. You will oversee data processing and tax filings, making improvements as needed. A bachelor’s degree in economics or accounting is preferred.

The Tax Controller – Indirect Taxes will play a key role in managing SiriusPoint’s Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) processes across 20 jurisdictions. The primary responsibility is to compile, reconcile, and consolidate tax data into summary reports for an external service provider to file IPT returns. The role also includes preparing VAT submissions for Sweden, Belgium, and Switzerland, as well as supporting various ad hoc tax controlling activities. This position reports to the Tax Director, Europe and Asia Pacific.
