MHA in Peterborough invites applications for a Corporate Tax Associate Apprenticeship starting April 2027. You’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and a recognised professional qualification while contributing to real client work.
The programme blends on-the-job training with study towards the ATT Level 5 and CTA Level 7, with flexible working and a supportive team culture in a leading UK advisory firm.
We're looking for talented individuals who bring initiative, creativity, and curiosity to the table. In return, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience, receive mentorship from some of the industry's best and earn recognised professional qualification.
By the end of your Apprenticeship Programme, you’ll be a well-rounded, commercially minded professional, ready to take on interesting and challenging responsibilities. You won’t just be fully qualified - you’ll be fully prepared to drive your own career forward.
Corporate Tax is about helping businesses understand and manage their tax responsibilities while navigating an increasingly complex and changing tax environment. You’ll work with a variety of organisations, from growing owner‑managed businesses to larger companies and international groups, building relationships with clients and developing an understanding of how their businesses operate. From an early stage, you’ll support work such as preparing corporate tax computations and returns, researching tax legislation and helping ensure clients meet their compliance obligations, while as your experience develops you will gain exposure to more advisory work around areas such as business transactions, restructuring and international activity. It’s a career that combines technical knowledge with commercial awareness, problem solving and working with people. If you’re interested in businesses, how they operate and how tax influences commercial decisions, Corporate Tax could be a great fit for you. If you’re more interested in working with individuals, families and their personal financial affairs, we’d encourage you to explore our Private Client Tax opportunities instead.
As a Corporate Tax Associate, you'll help businesses navigate their corporate tax obligations, providing technical support and practical advice to a range of clients. Here’s what you'll be doing:
