Job summary

TPF Recruitment is supporting a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants near Uckfield. The firm is seeking a motivated Tax Trainee to join its growing tax team and develop within a supportive, collaborative environment.

You will assist in the preparation of personal tax computations, self-assessment returns, and client queries while building knowledge across personal and business tax. A started accounting qualification and at least 12 months practice experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Have started an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or similar), tax-focused or otherwise.
• Minimum of 12 months experience working in a practice environment, ideally in tax.
• Understanding of basic tax principles and compliance requirements.
• Eagerness to learn and progress within the firm.
