Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is representing a leading Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked law firm in the City of London seeking a Tax Assistant Manager (CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified). You will work alongside Tax Partners on advisory, compliance and disputes work, with exposure to UK and international tax matters for a broad client base.

Qualifications

• BA/BSc degree with 2:1 or higher.
• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualification required.
• Experience with UK tax compliance and client portfolios.
• Experience preparing tax returns and first reviews.
• Experience with Owner Managed Businesses (OMBs) advantageous.
• Experience with international private client tax matters is a plus.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical tax research and advise on UK tax legislation.
• Prepare tax computations and assist with advisory reports.
• Review client documentation and respond to queries.
• Attend meetings with clients and advisers.
• Support business development and marketing materials.
