Job summary

Express Recruitment Limited, Nottingham city centre, is recruiting a tax professional to join a growing Tax Advisory team. You will work with Directors and Partners to deliver bespoke tax advice across owner-managed businesses, corporate groups and high-net-worth individuals.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in mixed tax or corporate tax advisory within accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge across direct taxation, including corporate and capital taxes.
• Excellent communication skills, strong commercial awareness, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines effectively.
• Deliver bespoke tax advisory projects, including corporate restructuring, share transactions, property tax planning, and exit/succession strategies.
• Manage and nurture strong client relationships while proactively identifying new advisory opportunities.
• Prepare technical tax reports, documentation and advisory correspondence.
• Support senior leadership with complex tax planning projects and in-depth technical research.
• Continuously review portfolio data to spot planning and advisory value-add opportunities.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join an expanding Tax Advisory team, working closely with Directors and Partners to deliver high-quality, bespoke tax advice across a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, corporate groups, and high-net-worth individuals.

Job Location

Up to £70,000 Per Annum D.O.E

Job Type and Hours

Full-time (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:30 with flexible working options)
