ASK4 is seeking a Tax Accountant to support the Head of Tax with UK and EU compliance and reporting, covering corporation tax, VAT and other taxes. You will prepare drafts and workings for review.

You will handle corporation tax computations, VAT returns and EU tax coordination, liaising with EU tax agents, and contribute to R&D tax credit and capital allowance work. A methodical, accurate approach and strong Excel skills are essential.

Formación

• Qualified accountant or tax professional (ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of current and deferred tax provisioning, and UK VAT.
• Ability to produce well-documented first drafts and flag judgement points before review.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare corporation tax computations and tax provisioning schedules in Alphatax.
• Compile the tax provision reporting pack, setting out key judgement points.
• Review the Group’s quarterly UK VAT returns.
• Coordinate EU VAT and corporation tax returns.
• Liaise with EU tax agents as a key point of contact.
• Track EU and Group filing deadlines, and raise any risk early.
• Prepare workings for R&D tax credit and capital allowance claims.
• Assess CIS exposure as needed.
• Support transfer pricing reviews and wider tax projects.
