Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is recruiting a Tax Accountant for the in-house finance team in the UK. The role covers direct and indirect tax with ownership from day one, including VAT compliance and tax reporting.

We seek ATT or CTA part-qualified candidates, or ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified candidates with strong hands-on tax experience, plus a solid VAT background and independence to hit the ground running.

• Good practical understanding of VAT
• Experience across both direct and indirect tax
• Able to work independently and take ownership

Job description

We're currently recruiting for a Tax Accountant to join a growing business and become a key part of their in‑house finance team.

This is a broad role covering both direct and indirect tax, with plenty of ownership from day one. It would suit someone who already has a solid understanding of tax and is looking to take the next step in their career.

• Someone confident working independently and taking ownership

This is not a role where you'll be starting from scratch - the successful candidate will need to be able to hit the ground running and already have a good understanding of core tax principles.
