Carr Gate Training Centre in Wakefield invites applications for a Taser Instructor within the TTDU. You will deliver initial and refresher Taser courses, assess competence, and help keep officers trained to National and Force standards.

The role focuses on officer safety training, developing learners from diverse backgrounds, and supporting quality assurance. It is a full‑time, weekday position with opportunities for professional development and a strong contribution to public confidence.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Be confident in providing constructive feedback, maintaining records and supporting QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver initial and refresher Taser courses.
• Assess competence and ensure Officers remain trained to National and Force standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of training programmes.
• Influence Officer safety training and support the deployment of Taser.
