Tankering & Jetting Site Supervisor
Location: Wakefield
Salary: Circa £42,000 per annum + overtime + company car
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Tankering & Jetting Site Supervisor to lead operations across drainage and utilities contracts.

This is a hands‑on, field‑based role combining operational leadership, Health & Safety management, and technical support. It's an excellent opportunity for an experience drainage supervisor, with clear progression routes into depot or operations management.

The Role
  • Supervise and support jetting and tankering crews to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery
  • Act as the on‑site contact for clients and customers, providing updates and resolving queries
  • Carry out site audits and promote safe working practices in line with company and industry standards
  • Ensure accurate completion of job sheets, RAMS, and service reports using digital devices
  • Assist operationally with jetting, blockage clearance, waste removal, and flood response when required
About You
  • Previous experience in drainage, jetting, tankering, or utilities operations
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach
  • Confident using digital reporting systems (tablet/laptop)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and site compliance practices
Desirable
  • HGV licence, Confined Space, or HPWJ certification (advantageous)
  • Experience dealing with clients or customers in a field‑based utilities setting
