Job summary

Certas Energy is seeking a Class C/C+E ADR tanker driver to deliver products safely across the region. You will operate company vehicles, perform daily checks and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

You will load and unload at customer sites, verify deliveries and maintain professional customer service while upholding company policies. A CPC, tachograph card and relevant licences are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Class C or Class C+E licence is required.
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is essential.
• Digital tachograph card is mandatory.
• Experience in a similar role within the fuel industry is advantageous.
• PDP qualification is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical and logical reasoning skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• A commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
• Flexible, enthusiastic and customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to support colleagues across the business and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and efficiently, following delivery instructions and procedures.
• Operate company vehicles and depot equipment in line with SOPs.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Load and discharge products safely, checking loading sheets for product grade and volume.
• Verify name, address, product grade and tank capacity before each delivery.
• Re-check ullage and ensure the correct dispensed volume.
• Obtain customer signatures upon delivery where possible.
• Report accidents, spills, or unsafe delivery conditions immediately.
• Follow Health, Safety and Environmental policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Attend safety meetings and contribute to depot operations.
