Job summary

SKILLED WORKERS CLOUD in the UK is seeking a Tandoori Chef to prepare, cook and present tandoori and grill dishes to exacting standards. You will assist the Head Chef and ensure that flavours and presentation meet high expectations.

You must maintain hygiene and safety in the kitchen, adapt recipes to customer requests, and perform under pressure during peak periods to deliver consistently high‑quality meals with appealing presentation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting Tandoori and grill dishes to the appropriate standards.
• Assisting Head Chef, prepare and cook food.
• Responsible for flavour and presentation, ensuring great tasting and appealing food.
• Ensure hygiene health and safety standards are maintained within the kitchen.
• Modify recipes to meet customers' needs and requests.
• Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients.
• Supervise, organise, and instruct kitchen staff to perform at their best.
• Requisitions appropriate supply and examine food from supplier to ensure quality.
• Plan and co-ordinate kitchen works such as fetching, clearing, and cleaning of equipment and utensils.
• To work under pressure during an extremely busy period.
