Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking Tamil bilingual experts to contribute to an AI training project aimed at improving Tamil language understanding and generation. You will evaluate Tamil audio content for nativeness and quality, provide feedback in English, and follow established guidelines.

Strong Tamil proficiency and English communication are required. This is a remote contractor role with strict quality standards and timely delivery expectations.

Qualifications

• Native-level Tamil proficiency.
• English (B2+) proficiency for written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle linguistic differences.
• Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly explain observations and follow evaluation guidelines.
• Experience working remotely and independently is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Tamil audio and evaluate nativeness, fluency, and linguistic quality.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, accent, rhythm, and authenticity.
• Identify unnatural phrasing and pronunciation issues.
• Document evaluations in English with clear feedback.
• Provide explanations and justifications for evaluation decisions.
• Follow established guidelines and quality standards consistently.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements.
• Provide linguistic insights to help improve Tamil-language models.
• Complete audio review tasks accurately and within deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
