About the Role

Joining our team as a HR Talent Specialist, you will be responsible for managing talent acquisition for UK Ireland and Norway, taking ownership of the recruitment and on boarding strategy to bring the best talent into our organisation; delivering the right people at the right time.

The role is managing all recruitment and on boarding for the UK and Ireland sites and proving support for recruitment and on boarding to the Norway sites. Delivering KPIs such as time to hire; cost to hire, offer acceptance rate, quality of hires and turnover rate. You will drive direct sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines and provide an exceptional candidate experience.

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to join a HR team and have the opportunity to develop and become a versatile people services team member.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from job description to offer negotiation and on boarding
  • Work in partnership with line managers to manage their recruitment by utilising our online recruitment and ATS system
  • Managing supplier relationships with agency PSL
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, GDPR and employment legislation
  • Ensure DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) in all recruitment activities
  • New starter on boarding including managing design and launch of on boarding module on HRIS
  • Coach and train managers on recruitment and selection
  • Support the delivery of HR projects, team and initiatives, always seeking continuous improvement
Required Skills
  • Previous in-house/agency recruitment experience
  • Full driving licence
  • Part or fully CIPD qualified preferred but not essential
  • Experience working within the Engineering industry desirable
  • Basic knowledge of employment law and GDPR compliance
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word with experience using internal software systems, applicant tracking systems and HRIS
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple roles at once
  • Passionate about finding and hiring the right people to build strong, high-performing teams
  • Able to travel across UK, Ireland and Norway – approx. 10% to 15% of time travelling
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working within the Engineering industry desirable
  • Solid IT skills, with programming or automation experience is advantageous
Pay range and compensation package

Competitive salary – up to £35,000.

25 days holiday – with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days a year.
