Job Overview

We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Talent Resourcer to join a fast-growing UK-based temporary recruitment startup. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and managing candidates to ensure a high-quality talent pipeline is always ready for client requirements. Your work will directly support the recruitment delivery function, enabling smooth and timely placements once client appointments are secured.

Working closely with the Director and Appointment Setter, you’ll play a central role in identifying top candidates across a variety of sectors, ensuring data accuracy and candidate readiness at every stage of the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, screen, and qualify candidates for both temporary and permanent roles across various industries.
  • Manage the full candidate lifecycle — from posting job ads through to presenting shortlists.
  • Maintain a strong and up-to-date candidate database using the company’s CRM (Recruit or similar).
  • Leverage job boards, LinkedIn, Boolean searches, and other tools to attract top talent.
  • Communicate with candidates via phone, email, and messaging platforms to assess suitability and gather compliance documents.
  • Work closely with the Appointment Setter and Director to ensure candidate pipelines align with current and upcoming client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and real-time updates within the CRM, ensuring complete data integrity.
  • Write and post compelling job adverts tailored to client requirements.
  • Format and prepare candidate CVs in a consistent, professional format for submission.
  • Track and report on sourcing KPIs such as response rates, shortlist ratios, and time-to-fill metrics.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Talent Resourcer, Candidate Sourcer, or Delivery Consultant role within the recruitment industry (temporary or permanent).
  • Proven ability to source and manage high volumes of candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and CRM platforms.
  • Strong command of Boolean search techniques and digital sourcing strategies.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills suited to the UK market.
  • Demonstrated experience managing data accurately within a recruitment CRM.
  • Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities at once.
  • Comfortable working towards weekly KPIs and performance targets.
  • Fully equipped to work UK business hours (09:00–17:30 GMT).
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
