Talent Development Advisor, £32,000 Per Annum, Permanent, Manchester (Hybrid)

Macmillan Davies is proud to be partnering with a leading national business in search of a Talent Development Advisor. This role will be critical in shaping, delivering, and assessing programmes that drive professional development, support career progression, and attract early talent.

Main duties include:
  • Design, deliver, and improve high-quality talent development programmes that drive retention.
  • Provide expert advice to managers and leaders, offering mentoring and career support.
  • Coordinate and administer programmes to meet business needs, delivering excellent service aligned with business values.
  • Build strong partnerships across HR, OD, and leadership teams
  • Represent business with external education and local authority partners.
  • Manage apprenticeship providers, ensure safeguarding and compliance, and maintain accurate reporting data.
  • Promote collaboration and a proactive mindset to deliver effective talent solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience designing and delivering development programmes, including apprenticeships, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with HR, L&D, business stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage complex workloads and coordinate projects as well as and deliver to deadlines.
  • Confident advising managers and leaders, with clear and effective written and verbal communication.
  • GCSE English and Maths (essential); Level 3 CIPD and Level 5 Coaching (desirable); commitment to ongoing professional development.
