A leading creative agency based in South Manchester is seeking a Talent Leader for a 7-month maternity cover. This hybrid role involves managing a team, overseeing business development, and engaging with the retail and fashion sectors. Ideal candidates will have experience in digital and influencer markets, bringing strong management skills to enhance agency efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience within the digital, content creator, social & influencer sectors.
  • Background in talent management is advantageous but not required.
  • Key understanding of business efficiency and P&L evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of two Talent Managers.
  • Lead weekly management and leadership meetings.
  • Evaluate P&L, sales and develop business strategies.
  • Analyze client briefs and up-sell opportunities.

Job description

Established creative agency based in South Manchester is looking for a Talent Leader to run the business side of the operation for a 7 month maternity cover contract.

You will be working within the retail, fashion, lifestyle and beauty sectors for the influencer, content creator, social areas.

This role will be paid pro‑rata, and will start in Jan 2026. Hybrid working.

Your main responsibilities within the agency include:
  • Team management of x2 Talent Managers
  • Weekly management & leadership meetings
  • Evaluating the P&L's, sales and business development side to the business
  • Looking at the efficiency of the agency
  • Addressing numbers & quotas
  • Reviewing client briefs and evaluating any up‑sell opportunities
  • Part of the SLT meetings each month, analysing what business development is required, the strategy for this and coming up with action points.

It would be ideal if you had experience within the digital, content creator, social & influencer markets within a small‑medium sized creative agency. If you have worked in a Talent Management field before then this would be advantageous but not essential. An understanding of this sector would be key.
