A leading transportation provider in Southampton seeks a Talent and Succession Manager to lead talent processes and develop programs to identify and nurture talent. The role requires degree-level education and management experience, along with a strong ability to communicate and build relationships. South Western Railway (SWR) operates over 1,500 services each weekday across the network and employs more than 5,000 people. We provide easy and convenient mobility, connecting people and communities in South West London, southern counties of England, and the Isle of Wight.
The purpose of the Talent and Succession Manager role is to lead and implement talent and succession management processes to ensure that talent and successors are identified and appropriate development plans are in place and in so doing support the People Strategy.
Overline House is conveniently situated overlooking Southampton Central Station and is easily accessible by public transport. The station is very local to West Quay, a hub for retailers and restaurants, and provides an excellent link between London, Coastal areas and the Isle of Wight.
*Please note that this role will require you to be flexible and visit locations across the SWR network.
Working an average of 37 hours per week over 5 days
