ALTEN LTD - UK is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a 6-month fixed term contract to join our Talent Acquisition & Leadership Development team. You will source, screen, interview, and manage relationships with Directors and candidates to support leadership hiring needs.

You will build and nurture a leadership candidate pool, conduct market insights, and provide recruitment analytics to drive decisions. This FTC role offers exposure to diverse sectors and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in talent acquisition in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Strong experience managing full recruitment lifecycle independently.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with internal teams and hiring managers.
• Skilled in screening candidates, shortlisting, and conducting thorough interviews with detailed feedback.
• Experience building awareness of the company brand and strong relationships with candidates.

Responsibilities

• Talent Sourcing: Understand hiring needs and workforce planning to fill leadership roles.
• Candidate Identification: Source high-caliber professionals via direct approaches, headhunting, LinkedIn, talent mapping.
• End-to-End Recruitment: Screen CVs, phone screenings, structured interviews, manage director/candidate relationships.
• Candidate Engagement: Act as trusted advisor throughout journey from contact to onboarding.
• Leadership Pipeline Development: Build a pool to meet current and future needs.
• Market Insights: Conduct competitive intelligence and talent mapping to stay ahead.
• Recruitment Analytics & Reporting: Provide updates to stakeholders via dashboards.
• Continuous Improvement: Improve candidate experience and recruitment workflows for Technical Direction.

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (FTC) to join our Talent Acquisition & Leadership Development team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Talent Sourcing: Understand hiring needs and workforce planning to efficiently fill leadership and specialist roles across the organization.
• Candidate Identification: Source high-caliber professionals through direct approaches, headhunting, LinkedIn, talent mapping, and digital tracking methods.
• End-to-End Recruitment; i) Screen CVs using modern tools and data-driven methods. ii) Conduct insightful phone screenings and structured interviews using behavioral questions, case studies, and role-plays. iii) Manage the relationship with the Directors and the Candidates
• Candidate Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the candidate journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from initial contact through to onboarding.
• Leadership Pipeline Development: Build and nurture a qualified candidate pool to meet current and future hiring needs.
• Market Insights: Conduct competitive intelligence and talent mapping to remain ahead of market trends and strengthen strategic hiring decisions.
• Recruitment Analytics & Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders through group reporting and internal dashboards, ensuring process optimization and accountability.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in candidate experience and optimize recruitment workflows for Technical Direction.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in talent acquisition within fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field, is preferred, along with experience as an in-house recruiter or agency recruiter.
• Strong experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle independently, including sourcing, stakeholder management, and offer negotiation
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationship with internal teams and hiring managers at all levels.
• Skilled in screening candidates, shortlisting applicants, and conducting thorough interviews with detailed feedback for hiring managers.
• Experience in building awareness of the company brand and cultivating strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
