This is a fixed term role for 12 months covering maternity leave with a start date needed of 1st February, and a requirement to be in Leeds 3 days per week.

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional recruitment support for our retail business. You’ll manage end-to-end hiring for salaried roles across our stores in the South, ensuring we attract and secure the best talent to keep our business thriving. This role is hands‑on, requiring strong sourcing skills, market insight, and the ability to engage passive candidates in a competitive market.

You’ll work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and deliver a seamless candidate experience that reflects our brand values. From crafting compelling job adverts to headhunting for critical roles, you’ll be a trusted partner who helps shape our retail talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for salaried retail roles across multiple locations.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and deliver tailored hiring solutions.
  • Use advanced sourcing techniques, market mapping, and competitor analysis to identify and engage passive talent.
  • Create job adverts and manage candidate attraction through multiple channels.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain compliance with recruitment policies and diversity initiatives.
  • Provide insights on market trends and talent availability to support workforce planning.

Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within retail or high‑volume environments; open‑mind on background, but candidates from in‑house talent acquisition or agency recruitment teams will find synergy with this role.
  • Strong headhunting and sourcing skills, with the ability to engage passive candidates.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment technology.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and diversity best practices.
  • Genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for Talent Acquisition and a lifelong learning mentality to stay relevant in your field for stakeholders.
