Nottingham Trent House (95002), United Kingdom, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Talent Acquisition Partner Job Title: Talent Acquisition Partner Location: Nottingham or London Working Pattern: 3 days in-office (Tuesday-Thursday) and 2 days remote.

Our Mission

We’re on a mission to be a force for good in lending. Throughout our almost 30-year history, we’ve consistently been recognised as a great place to work; in 2026, Capital One was officially ranked 9th in the UK’s Best Workplaces™ list. Hear from our team about what it’s like working at Capital One UK.

About this role

We're looking for a driven and strategic Talent Acquisition Partner to take ownership of the hiring across a broad range of business areas here at Capital One, including Analytics, Process Management, Legal, Compliance and Risk. If you thrive on autonomy, this is your chance to not just fill roles, but to drive significant strategic change, identify key areas for improvement, and ensure our talent acquisition efforts are perfectly aligned with the broader company vision.

What you’ll do
  • Own the end to end talent acquisition process for key parts of the business, including Analytics and Professional hiring
  • Be the key point of contact and trusted leader for your business areas, utilising your market knowledge to influence the overall people strategy
  • Develop and implement long term sourcing strategies to create robust candidate pipelines for immediate business demand and future required skills
  • Work closely with Talent Brand to build and implement an engaging attraction strategy, continuing to highlight Capital One as an employer of choice
  • Constantly seek to understand the changes in the recruitment market, and bring innovation and new ideas to the wider TA team
What we’re looking for
  • Significant experience as a full-lifecycle recruiter within financial services
  • Ability to move beyond tactical recruiting to think strategically about talent challenges, advise senior stakeholders, and shape organisational hiring strategy
  • A curious mindset to help understand the roles you’re recruiting for and can have meaningful conversations about challenges
  • Highly effective communication and relationship‑building skills to partner with busy hiring managers and provide a world‑class experience to candidates
  • An ability to thrive in an ambiguous and ever changing environment, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement
  • A data‑driven approach to optimise your recruitment processes and provide meaningful insights to the business, along with strong organisational skills to ensure a well managed approach
  • Experience using GSuite and Workday desirable

What you should know about how we recruit

We pride ourselves on hiring the best people, not the same people. Building diverse and inclusive teams is the right thing to do and the smart thing to do. We want to work with top talent: whoever you are, whatever you look like, wherever you come from. We know it’s about what you do, not just what you say. That’s why we make our recruitment process fair and accessible. We value diversity, inclusion and belonging at our core. We empower our associates to do great work by creating an inclusive culture—one that values diverse perspectives, fosters collaboration and encourages innovative ideas—and a place where associates of all backgrounds can thrive by bringing their most authentic selves to work. We call this our Culture of Belonging, and it rests at the heart of our business.

Our associate‑led Business Resource Groups were created to help support our diverse population and include over 10 groups across our offices. Because each Business Resource Group is as unique as the population it serves, they offer a range of activities, networking opportunities, special events and learning programmes to associates.
