WHSmith Travel is recruiting a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support end-to-end recruitment across multiple disciplines and brands. The role involves onboarding, admin support, and partner collaboration to deliver a world-class candidate experience.

You will coordinate with TA Partners and stakeholders, manage POs, and ensure accurate HR processes while contributing to a strong employer brand. Hybrid work is offered in London or Swindon.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in an administrative function.
• Experience working across HR systems (Dayforce & TeamTailor).
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.
• Able to think logically and creatively to solve problems at volume.
• Proactive, with strong prioritisation in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding processes, including Right To Work checks.
• Act as TA admin point of contact and manage system queries across Dayforce & TeamTailor.
• Maintain recruitment metrics and real‑time reports.
• Collaborate with TA, Learning, People Partners to process TA tasks.
• Own PO administration and ensure timely, accurate approvals.
• Govern the recruitment inbox and support EVP delivery.

Talent Acquisition Coor dinator - 6 month FTC to join the team.

You will partner with key stakeholders and Talent Acquisition Partners to provide a best‑in‑class end to end talent acquisition experience so that we hire the right people for the business to enable growth. You will be accountable for managing the onboarding of our exceptional and diverse talent at all levels with the flexibility to hire across multiple disciplines and brands.

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will support the team with their vacancies and will be a strong brand ambassador, supporting on key projects and all hiring administration to ensure we deliver a world class service to our candidates.

What you will be doing

• Overseeing our onboarding process – including monitoring compliance (Right To Work Checks).
• Being the ‘go to’ person with Talent Acquisition admin queries and have a full understanding of the Applicant Tracking System(s) (Dayforce & TeamTailor), to ensure that the end-to-end candidate experience is smooth and seamless.
• Ensuring all recruitment metrics and reports are maintained and updated in real time.
• Collaborate with colleagues in TA, Learning, Talent & Development, People Partners, ensuring all TA tasks are processed effectively and accurately.
• Take ownership of Purchase Order administration, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure POs are raised, approved and maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
• Governance over the recruitment inbox and troubleshooting queries.
• Support the delivery and promotion of our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), helping to ensure our employer brand and candidate experience are consistent, engaging and reflective of our employee offering.

What we are looking for

• Demonstrable experience in an administrative function.
• Prior experience of working across multiple HR systems (Dayforce & TeamTailor) and MS Office.
• Able to think logically and creatively to find the best way to solve problems and get things done at volume.
• Proactive and able to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced, high workload environment.
• Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities and different stakeholders.
• High energy, highly motivated and self-directed.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the rest of the TA team, with a flexible approach to support on any areas which require focus.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, follow up and time management skills.
