In this role, you’ll help shape the council’s future workforce, finding innovative and effective ways to attract, engage, and connect talented people with meaningful roles. You’ll work with Hiring Managers and colleagues across HR, Policy, Organisational Development, and Change, using data insights and your understanding of the labour market to help us fill critical and hard-to-fill roles, and to build a future workforce that reflects the diversity and values of our communities.
You’ll be encouraged to try new approaches, champion technology-led improvements, and continuously enhance the experience for candidates and our manager led hiring approach alike. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide practical knowledge, creative solutions, and expert guidance, ensuring consistency at the hiring experience is engaging, inclusive, and impactful.
