Job summary

MoonPay is seeking an experienced Talent Partner to build exceptional teams across Engineering, Data, and Security. You will own searches end-to-end, align with hiring managers, map markets, and close roles quickly in a fast-moving environment.

You will source proactively, influence strategies, and continuously improve hiring processes. AI should be part of your toolkit as you expand MoonPay’s technical capabilities in the London area.

Qualifications

• Significant experience recruiting technical talent for fast-moving tech or product organisations.
• Deep knowledge recruiting across software, data, AI and/or security, with beneficial product/design sourcing.
• Strong sourcing and talent-mapping skills to uncover hidden candidates.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with high ownership and data-driven mindset.
• Proven ability to leverage AI in recruiting to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hiring across Engineering, Data and Security from kickoff to close.
• Partner with hiring managers to define what great looks like and build hiring strategies.

About the Opportunity

MoonPay is looking for an experienced Talent Partner to help us build exceptional teams across Engineering, Data and Security.

Technical hiring here is fast-moving, competitive and rarely straightforward. You'll own searches end-to-end, working closely with hiring managers to understand what they really need, find the right talent and keep hiring moving. We're looking for someone who knows their market, has strong opinions backed by data, and isn't afraid to rethink the approach when a search isn't working.

This is a hands‑on role with plenty of ownership. You'll source, advise, problem‑solve and close, while helping us continuously improve how we hire. AI should already be part of your recruiting toolkit, and we'll expect you to keep experimenting with how it can make your work smarter and more effective.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end hiring across Engineering, Data and Security, from kicking off a search and mapping the market through to assessment, offer and close.

• Partner closely with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand their teams, define what great looks like and build hiring strategies that work.

• Find exceptional technical talent in competitive markets through proactive sourcing, talent mapping and creative search strategies.

• Bring data and market insight into hiring conversations, spotting where searches are getting stuck and changing the approach when something isn't working.

• Use AI across sourcing, screening, research, market mapping and reporting, constantly looking for ways to improve the quality and efficiency of your work.

• Make hiring at MoonPay better. Share what works, challenge what doesn't, and contribute to improvements across our processes, tooling and ways of working.

About You

• Significant experience recruiting technical talent within fast‑moving technology or product organisations, with a track record of delivering against challenging searches in competitive talent markets.

• Deep technical recruiting experience across Software Engineering, Data, AI and/or Security. Product and Design recruitment experience is highly beneficial.

• Strong sourcing and talent‑mapping skills, with the ability to get beyond the obvious candidate pool and find great people others might miss.

• Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with a high level of ownership. Data‑driven, curious and focused on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement. Confident influencing hiring managers and challenging thinking when needed.

• Strong practical use of AI in recruiting, plus a deep understanding of cryptocurrency and financial technology. Able to demonstrate how AI has improved your work and speak credibly about the crypto ecosystem and where it's heading.
